Chester County Newborn Photography | JZ

This little man. What a sweetheart he was! When we first got going, he was a little unsure of the lady with the camera (see those worry lines on the shot with his eyes open?). But as soon as I put him in the box and tucked him in? He. Was. Zonked.

It was wonderful getting to know his parents, and his grandparents were there too. They were very helpful as my “assistants,” holding the reflector and helping to get J into the poses we wanted.

I love it when we can incorporate a few meaningful items into the newborn photography session. The beautiful rugs were a gift from a family member, and his grandma once rocked his daddy to sleep in the handmade cradle.

J & J, and J & N, thank you for choosing me to photograph your newest addition!

Chester County Headshots

I recently had the privilege of working with this couple on their business headshots. They wanted a true Chester County look, so we found some stone ruins to use as the backdrop. We also managed to find some fall color! And even though it was the beginning of November, it was 70 degrees! Their long sleeves and jackets are definitely more of a fashion choice than a comfort choice. 🙂

Pete and Dora, it was great to work with you on your Chester County headshots! We got some beautiful images that will represent you and your business very well.

Chester County Newborn Photography | Tiny Dino

M, this tiny dinosaur, was the sweetest thing! At 7 days old, he was totally laid back and mellow, no matter what we asked him to do. He barely made a peep the whole time I was there—what a dream!

M’s big brother turned two this spring (check out his newborn photography session), and we weren’t sure how willing he’d be to participate in little bro’s photo session. We started the session with the brother shot on the white rug, and he did great! After that, Mom and Dad set him up with some goldfish crackers and a movie so I could focus on M. Every once in a while, he’d come over and say, “I kiss my baby.” We have several shots in various setups where he’s kissing “his baby.” So great! I hope they always get along so well.

J and J, thank you for inviting me back to photograph baby #2! Your gallery will be ready soon!

Chester County Senior Photography | Cat

‘Tis the season! For high school senior photography, that is. Here’s another member of the class of 2017. Catherine, who loved James Bond and Spiderman when she was a little girl, has grown into a beautiful young woman who owns her own car and holds down a job in addition to all of her school activities. She’s a dog lover—especially if the dog is a German shepherd. Once she’s out of college and on her own, I’m sure she’ll have at least one.

We did her session at the Little Log House Pioneer Village, and what a location it was! There were so many old buildings, cars, and beautiful gardens that we could have shot all day! And as the darkness closed in on us, we were rushing to get just a few more interesting backgrounds for her senior photography session.

Looking for Chester County senior photography? Something more than the standard “graduation rose” studio shot? Give me a call! Fall is a great time to capture your senior’s unique look and personality.
