This is the second time I’ve photographed sweet Miss A (see her previous photos here), and I was excited to meet her little sister M!
We braved the heat and had a fun time in their backyard. A enjoyed swinging, picking apples, and playing hide and seek with the camera.

M was content to hang out on a blanket and enjoy the sunshine. Then we took her inside to get some studio shots that are similar to the ones we did of A two years ago. (Click the link above to see the resemblance to A when she was six months old!) Miss M was all smiles for me, even though I had pretty well tired her out by that point.

Some two-year-olds want nothing to do with their little siblings, but these two got along great!

K and K, thanks so much for inviting me back to work with your girls! I’ll be in touch when your full gallery is ready.
I know this family from our church, and I knew we’d have a good time taking their photos. But when they got out of the car in these awesome clothes, I was so excited! Next time a client asks me for wardrobe advice, I’m sending the link to this post! These clothes are the very definition of “coordinating, but not matchy-matchy.” Dad also wore an orange polo in some of the shots, and that looked great too.
Okay, enough about the clothes. Now look at these beautiful people! The girls were full of great ideas, and we had tons of fun (despite the heat!). We met at a local park/farm, and the location has lots of great areas to shoot.

S family, it was great getting to know you a bit better! Thanks so much for inviting me to photograph you. I’ll be in touch soon with your full gallery!
I was so excited to spend Sunday morning with this new family of three. It was Dad’s first Father’s Day—just look at him beaming in the photo below! C did great in his first photo session ever, and we were even able to get outside for a few shots. I know they’ll have some beautiful portraits to hang on their walls.
Now . . . on to the photos!

D and A, thanks so much for sharing with me this special time in your lives. I enjoyed working with you and C, and I’ll be in touch soon with your full gallery!
Oh boy, does the title of this post describe this little guy! At two, he’s always on the go. I think Mom might have worried that we didn’t get anything good, but as I told her as we finished up, “A photo session always looks much different from how it feels at the time.” No worries, Mom—of course we got some beautiful photos!
Those of you who’ve been following the blog for a while will remember L from his six-month portraits in August of 2008. He just keeps getting more handsome!

D and M, thanks so much for inviting me back to work with you and L. What a sweetheart he is! I’ll be in touch soon with your full gallery.
