Sunday Project | [Chester County Photographer]

A few weeks ago, The Pioneer Woman posted a recipe for homemade glazed doughnuts on her cooking site. My friend Mary suggested that a few of us get together and try our hand at making them. Unfortunately, our other friend Pat was sick and couldn’t make it, but she reaped the rewards when Mary delivered some to her house.

We documented the whole process; here’s the rolling out, cutting, and rising process.

After they were fried, we finished them in a variety of ways: glazed, cinnamon sugar, chocolate frosted, and glazed with drizzles of chocolate. They were yummy!

And finally . . . this is what my kitchen looked like when it was all said and done. Yikes! Thankfully, the cleanup was pretty easy.

What a fun day! If you think I’ve put on a few pounds the next time you see me, now you know why!

All I can say is wow. Just look at how beautiful this senior is! She and I met up last weekend at a local historic mansion, and we really made the most of the wonderful environment. And this is only half the session! Stay tuned . . . we’re meeting up in a few weeks for the outdoor portion. Cross your fingers that some of this snow will have melted by then!

Beautiful Miss A . . . is One! | [Chester County Baby Photographer]

I’ve been photographing this sweet girl since before she was born. You may remember her gorgeous blue eyes from her newborn photo session. Her parents invited me back, and we had a great time yesterday. Just look how she’s grown!

We played and read, and then she had a little tea party. The editing on this image is a little different from what I typically do, but I really love it. And she looks so sweet in her little hat.

After all of the other photos were done, Mom brought out the cake and we let A dive in. Except she didn’t really dive. It was more of a “tasting.” But she enjoyed it, and so did Max the pug when we let him in to clean up the crumbs!

P family, thank you so much for inviting me back to photograph A. She’s such a sweetheart, and it was wonderful to see you all again. I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery!

One | [Main Line Baby Photographer]

Little L’s mom called me to come and do his one-year session. I rang the bell, and his sweet face peeked out at me from the window next to the door. I stepped into the foyer, and he was in my arms before I could even take off my coat! We had a good time together, playing in his playroom and bedroom before taking advantage of the beautiful light (and smooth floors that are perfect for fire trucks!) in the dining room.

D and P, thanks for waiting patiently for me to post this sneak peek. It won’t be long before your gallery is ready!
