Chester County Family Photographer | The Y Family

How beautiful is this family? We met recently at a Chester County park, and even though it was a little chilly we had a great time. Don’t let the look on little miss L’s face fool you—she had fun too (though she was a little unsure at first)! The girls loved exploring the park, visiting the animals who live there, and playing in the leaves.

This family has some major changes coming up in the next few months, and Mom wanted to capture the “before” phase with this session. I’m so glad I could be the one to do it for them. C and J, you’ve been on my mind a lot since our session. Enjoy your photos, and best of luck with what lies ahead!

Chester County Family Photographer | L & C

C & L received a Sheila Y Photography gift certificate for their 25th wedding anniversary, and we recently met at a local park. L had done a great job of scouting the location ahead of time, and we had some beautiful backgrounds and scenery.

Of course, they brought their “boys,” and S and W were interested in everything—other people, other dogs, and their squeaky duck. And I think (like most labs), they *may* be interested in food. 🙂 I got their attention more than once by shaking a bowl of dog food!

It’s easy to see why C and L have been married for 25 years—they clearly enjoy each other’s company and have a great time together. There were lots of laughs during our session! Thank you both, and happy anniversary!

Philadelphia Area Newborn Photographer | L

Little L’s family and I go back a lifetime . . . the lifetime of L’s big brother, M! You see, I first met them when they were expecting M in 2010. We did a newborn session, six month session, and one year session, and I’m really excited because now we get to do it all over again with L!

We had to postpone our session a few times because M had been sick, so L was a little older than most newborns that I photograph. But he was a perfect gentleman! When he was awake, he was content, and when he slept he let us pose him with barely a squeak.

Mr. M was awesome, too. He showed me all his “guys” (Spiderman, Iron Man, The Hulk, and several others!), and let me photograph him with them. Then he was happy to let them “watch” while his family got into the photos. He did great with L—kissing him, holding him, and basically doing anything we asked. I’m sure he’ll do a great job of showing L the ropes!

Thank you, R family, for inviting me back. I can’t wait to see how your boys have changed when I see you again in six months!

Main Line Children’s Photographer | C

Oh my goodness, how little C has grown! I first met him, his parents, and his dog J a couple years ago when he was just six months old. He definitely moves a lot faster now! 🙂

We had a beautiful, warm day for our session, and like most two year olds, he’s all about moving and exploring. His parents promised him ice cream after our session, and I think they might’ve been looking forward to it as much as he was!

It was great hanging out with this family again, and I want to send a special shout-out to C’s nanny for introducing us!
