Main Line Child Photographer: Hot, hot, HOT!

Whew! It’s been a HOT couple of days here in the Philly area—temps approached 100 degrees each of the last two days, and we’ve got one more day in store tomorrow.

But the high temps didn’t stop these sweet kiddos. We started our session in the cool air conditioning. Then we moved outside for some fun on the lawn, which progressed to running through the sprinkler, and eventually to some time in the pool (for them, not me!).

M & L, thank you so much for inviting me to your home. It was great to see how much Mr. E has grown, and to meet Miss T—they’re both great kids. Hope to see you again before four more years pass!

Main Line Newborn Photographer: It’s a Girl!

This week I had the pleasure of meeting Miss A. Such a sweet little thing! And she was perfectly well-behaved. She slept through 90% of the session, and when she was awake she hardly made a peep. We even got a few smiles out of her.

Thank you so much, K and M, for inviting me to share this special time with your new daughter. I could feel the love and joy radiating in your house, and I know you feel so blessed to have her. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Main Line Pet Photographer: Puppy Love

Are these the cutest little things you’ve ever seen, or what? Daisy and Lily’s mom called me recently to do their six-month portraits, and we got together at a local park tonight. We enjoyed the gorgeous weather and had a great time together. I almost slipped these sweet girls into my camera bag to take home with me!

Here are a few more shots for the girls’ mom and dad to enjoy while I proof the rest of the images. Thanks so much, C and S, for calling me—it was great to meet all four of you!

Chester County Portrait Photographer: Vacation

My husband and I just returned from five days at Disney World with my sister, her husband, and their three kids. We had a great time running around the various theme parks, enjoying them from the kids’ perspective.

My niece (pictured above) turned five while we were there, and we had breakfast with the princesses on her birthday. It was so great to watch her face as each princess approached our table. But I think her favorite thing all week was the Mad Tea Party ride, or as she called it, the “D cups” (teacups).

Florida experienced record low temperatures while we were there, and we wore long pants and jackets all week. This morning when I got dressed in Pennsylvania, I put on shorts. Who woulda thought?! It’s good to be home!
