Little Man | [Philadelphia Area Baby Photographer]

This is the third time I’ve worked with this wonderful family this year, and I’m so excited that I get to capture M as he grows. I can’t believe he’s already six months old! (You can view their maternity and newborn sessions in the blog archives.)

Just as when we did the maternity session in March, we had unseasonably warm weather for this session. And I was so glad we could go outside for a few shots! Doesn’t he look like a little man in that sweater and hat?! So cute!

M isn’t quite sitting up yet, but you can see he’s working on it, and the image wouldn’t be complete without that little drop of drool that’s so typical of babies this age. And don’t miss the drool stain on Dad’s leg in the photo of M’s cute little shoes! 🙂

Shortly after I arrived for the session, Mom served homemade cheese bread. Dad’s mom had made and frozen it when she was visiting from Brazil. It was muito deliciosa (I hope Google got that translation right!)! And . . . here comes the best part . . . before I left, Dad packed some up for me to take home! I can’t wait to have it again.

R and A, it was so great to see you all again, and thank you so much for the cheese bread! I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery!

A Sweet Gift | [Chester County Newborn Photographer]

I met this sweet girl recently when friends of her parents purchased a gift certificate for a newborn photography session (hi B!).

She’s a little bit past the typical newborn stage, but we had no trouble getting her into some sleepy poses. And since she’s nine weeks old, I was able to get some great eye contact from her when she was awake! I just love the color image in the middle row—doesn’t it look like she’s about to go all ninja on me? 🙂 Also check out the peeking toes in the bottom image—so cute!

And of course, we couldn’t neglect her big “brother,” B. He wasn’t quite sure what to think of all my gear, but when Dad got out the treats he was happy to pose.

Suze - Just gorgeous Sheila! (as usual)… Love them! 🙂

Five Months | [Philadelphia Area Baby Photographer]

I first met Mr. C on Father’s Day when we did his newborn photo session, and I was looking forward to seeing him again. I’m always amazed at how quickly babies grow, and we had a fun time taking his almost-six-month photos.

Can you tell the development stage he’s in right now? Here’s a hint: there’s a lot of drool involved! 🙂 And you can see his need to chew . . . on his hand, his feet, or even the basket! I’m sure those new teeth will be breaking through any day now—hopefully with a minimum of pain and suffering for him and his parents. But enough words! Just take a look a this little sweetheart’s photos.

D and A, the Christmas-themed photos turned out great too! I’ll be in touch soon when the rest of your gallery is ready.

And then there were two | [Chester County Baby & Child Photographer]

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I arrived at the Z family’s house. Oh, I’ve worked with them before, and they’re great! But this time I’d be photographing newborn Z AND her two-year-old brother L. If you’ve ever tried to do a session with children at these ages, you can understand why I wasn’t quite sure how things would go. 🙂 But I needn’t have worried! We got lots of beautiful photos, and L was very cooperative. He was happy to hold his little sister, and we even got an image where he gave her a kiss! Mom and Dad will have to wait for their full gallery to see those, though. 🙂

You may recognize the couch in the first image below. This is the third time we’ve used it as a backdrop for L’s photos (view the previous photos here), and I don’t know what we’ll do if they ever decide to redecorate!

Miss Z was an absolute angel—she slept well for us and let us pose her, but we also got some wide-eyed shots as she was very content when she was awake.

C and J, I really enjoyed working with your family again. One of my favorite things about photography is watching my little clients grow, and I’m looking forward to the next time we get together!
