I had a great time with the O family recently. Little D was such a sweetheart! Even though he was teething and somewhat miserable, he gave us some great expressions. Their light-filled home and gorgeous property were the perfect backdrop for our photo session.
As I talked with D’s parents, we realized that they work with one of my best friends from childhood—talk about a small world!

This is the third time I’ve worked with this little sweetheart, and the fourth time I’ve worked with her parents (maternity, newborn, six months). And just like all babies, as she gets bigger she just keeps getting cuter! I just love the comparison with the three bear shots.
Miss R’s personality is really starting to show, and we had a great time at a Philadelphia park. Her striped tights and polka dot boots are so cute! And that dog in the last shot? He was just someone we encountered, and they were very curious about each other!
R and E, it’s been so great working with you. Thanks for letting me share this first year of your lives as a family of three!
I recently met these two adorable kiddos for a session at their home. We had lots of fun in the backyard and around the house. Mr. J was all smiles in these shots—I just love him in his little blue coat! Miss M discovered a caterpillar at one point, and he became the star of the show (right, Mom and Dad? 🙂 ). Of course we had to include him in a few shots too!

Over the last several years, my husband and I have worked with and supported Glenmoore Small Animal Rescue. We fostered a few dogs, and to date have adopted two dogs from them. We also take photos at the rescue’s annual Blessing of the Animals event to help raise funds. Mark your calendar —this year’s event is on Saturday, October 30!
Occasionally, the rescue calls me to take photos of the pets that are in foster care, and on Friday I met two adorable kittens and a jug (Jack Russell/pug mix) named Rusty. If you’re looking for a pet, or you know someone who is, please consider adopting a waiting animal. I’m sure GSAR would love to hear from you!
