Tiny Miss G | [main line newborn photographer]

It’s really late and I need to get to bed, but I just couldn’t wait to post these images from my session today. Isn’t this little girl the sweetest thing? She was 12 days old and very alert! But she was a really good sleeper for us too.

I just love putting newborns into their home environment so you can see how small they truly are. Here she is on the living room sofa. See? Tiny!

Big brother Baxter even got in on the act. I think he looks resigned to his recent demotion, don’t you?

M and J, it was so great meeting you this morning. I can’t wait to show you the rest of your images. Remember the pose that G was so great at? Those images turned out great. But I’m going to keep you in suspense! 🙂 I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery—enjoy the long weekend!

Taking a break . . . literally! | [Chester County Child Photographer]

You may have noticed that things have been a little quiet here on the blog recently. No, I’m not still on vacation (I wish!). But I have taken an unplanned break, in more ways than one. You see, a few weeks ago I fell and broke my collarbone. I’ll spare you the detailed story—partly because it’s embarrassing! Fortunately, I’m not in a lot of pain, but it is a bit difficult to hold a camera. I have had to reschedule some sessions, and I appreciate the flexibility of everyone who was affected.

I’m currently scheduling for June, so if you’ve been thinking about a summer session, now is the time to give me a call!

So what have I been doing during this unplanned hiatus? Last night I entered some photos in the Chester County Camera Club‘s monthly competition, and this one of my niece won first place in the monochrome print category:

You may recognize the image from this post last June. It was taken a few days before she had surgery to shrink a cyst on her brain. I’m happy to report that the surgery went well, and she recovered very quickly!

Joey Nahigian - Sheila! Oh my goodness! You broke your collarbone???

Soo sorry to hear that. I hope you bounce back quickly!

Boston is going to be one!! I just can’t believe how time flies…

Hope you are great!

Joey

Vacation’s All I Ever Wanted | [Chester County Child Photographer]

skydive-sheila

My husband and I are in Florida for a little getaway this week. Today we tried something totally different, and went “indoor skydiving.” After a short training session, we headed into the vertical wind tunnel. It was so great! The air was rushing up at about 125 mph, and it was so cool to float up and down on top of it. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend it! Learn more at Skyventure Orlando.

I’ll be responding to emails and voice mails after we return home on Monday. Thanks!

Mary - Awesome!!!!!!!

Ack! The Cheeks! | [main line baby photographer]

Get a load of the cheeks on this little man! I first met him about six months ago, at his newborn session. He looks so grown up now—where does the time go?

We decided to try a seasonal shot since Easter is on its way. He didn’t mind the ears too much, but he wasn’t fond of having his bare bottom on the cold floor!

I think this next image is payback for that!

T and C, it was great to see you all again this morning! I’ll be in touch soon with G’s gallery, and to get his one-year session on the calendar!
