Beautiful Miss A | [Chester County Newborn Photographer]

This little sweetheart was very interested in what we were doing today—she wanted to stay awake and take everything in. She’s 11 days old, and has beautiful delicate features. And the hair! So sweet.

You may remember her parents from this post back in November.

We were able to get her to drift off for a few minutes, and she looks like a little angel all snuggled in and cozy.

K and W, it was great to see you again today, and to meet your sweet little one. Hopefully she’ll sleep for you tonight! 🙂 I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Chester County Portrait Photographer: New Year, New Blog

I spent some time on this New Year’s holiday installing and setting up my new blog! I’m so excited about these changes. Moving my blog from the WordPress domain to my own domain gives me SO much more flexibility. There’s a slide show at the top! I can change the color scheme! It has a funky patterned background!

But the best change is all for you. Check out the size of the images! Sneak peeks were fun before, but now you’re really going to love them.

You’ll also love the new email a friend link at the bottom of each post. Use it to show off your photos to family and friends!

This is just one of several changes that you’ll see around here in 2009. Happy New Year!

Chester County Pet Photographer: Merry Christmas!

Maggie (pictured above), my husband, and I made it safely to Minnesota on Sunday night. Fortunately, we had pretty good weather for the drive, but we could’ve lived without the -30 degree windchills! We’ll be spending time with my family before we get back in the car on Friday morning and head east again. We’re hoping the weather is kind to us for the return trip too!

Thanks to you, 2008 has been a great year for Sheila Y Photography. I have the best clients, and it’s been so great working with you and sharing births, birthdays, and just everyday life with all of you. I hope you have a happy, relaxing holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you again in the new year!

Chester County Newborn Photographer: That’s a Wrap!

Yesterday was my last session for 2008, and what a way to end! Would you look at that sweet peanut? She’s so tiny! She was wide awake when I arrived, but once she fell asleep she was down for the count. And she let us have all kinds of fun. We put the tutu on her, and we played with hats, barrettes, and lots and lots of fur!

P, it was so great to meet you and all the women in your family! I really enjoyed working with you and your girls. Maybe next time we’ll have some better weather! I’ll be in touch in a few weeks when your gallery is ready. Happy holidays!
