Sweet S | [Chester County Newborn Photographer]

My session with S and her parents yesterday was lots of fun. When she was awake she was very content, and she gave us lots of great eye contact. But when her belly was full? Snooze city!

In this last photo I just love all their hands, and especially her little hand wrapped around Dad’s finger. New families are so great, and you can tell that they wanted this little girl very much.

S and P, thank you so much for inviting me to your home. It was great to meet you all (and the pooches!). I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery!

Leslie Ramusack - I know the parents of S… and believe me… she was the most wanted baby in the world… I’m so happy for S&P that they FINALLY got to add a baby to their world.

Your pictures are beautiful!

Leslie.

Just look at that handsome face! You may remember T from his newborn session last fall. Can you believe he’s gotten even cuter since then?!

He had lots of smiles for me, but he could also be “all business.” We had a great time together on Saturday, and I can’t wait to see how much he’s grown when we do his one-year session in the fall.

Of course, I can never resist those sweet piggies, and I had to get a few shots while he was having a mid-morning snack. J and P, it was so great to see you again! I’ll be in touch soon with your gallery. In the meantime, enjoy your sneak peek!

Erin McFarland - Hi Sheila!
I’ll be with you at Nichole’s workshop next month 🙂 Just hopped on your blog today and had to comment on the image of this little guy in the glasses and tie! I LOVE it! So creative and fun and made me laugh! Looking forward to meeting you!

Kim - How fun! This little guy is just the cutest!

Last month I took on a fun little project to help promote a small business in my neighborhood. Maggie’s groomer was looking to print some fliers and hang them around town for advertising, so I agreed to put something together for her.

Maggie has never been a big fan of the camera. But she has a bit of a love/hate relationship with it because she knows there are always treats involved. It’s gotten to the point that she’ll stick pretty close when I begin to set up the backdrop stand. As she follows me around, her excitement seems to say, “Are there gonna be treats today, Mom? Are there? Are there??!” And of course, there are always many treats involved!

Here’s the completed flier. If you’re looking for a friendly groomer in the Coatesville/Glenmoore/Thorndale area who does a great job, give Bev a call!

Penni - You did a great job on this project. I bet the groomer was thrilled!

Happy Valentine’s Day | [Chester County Maternity Photographer]

dsc_7974

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with the evidence of a couple’s love? R and J are welcoming baby number four, and as you can see in the image below, they’re just as much in love as ever. This session was supposed to be a surprise for R, but a sick child kept him at home on the morning of our shoot. The surprise would’ve been fun, but I think we had more fun during the session because he was there.

I’m looking forward to meeting this family’s newest addition, and to capturing some moments with his older brother and sisters. R and J, I’ll be in touch soon with the password for your gallery!
